For what purposes this data is necessary?
Full name, contact phone number and contact e-mail address are necessary for applicants’ registration, relevant document preparations and communication during “Primer by InnoEnergy Latvia” program.
How is data stored? Where and for how long is the data stored? Data collected via “Primer by InnoEnergy Latvia” program application form (request form http://www.innoenergy.lv/ ) is NOT stored in our database but is forwarded to our hub coordinators e-mail “firstname.lastname@example.org” (hosted by google Gmail service) and stored on our application forms host database (hosted by Airtable.com service). Data in e-mail is kept as long as it’s necessary to communicate with you. Data in http://www.airtable.com will be kept until “Primer by InnoEnergy Latvia” program will be closed (program agenda can be found in www.innoenergy.lv)
Are the data shared with third-party entities?
Data collected is NOT shared with third-party entities only exceptions are our cloud emailing service Gmail which provides secure storage for our emails and our application form building platform https://www.airtable.com that provides secure storage for data you have entered in application form; Nowadays most of the small and medium businesses use cloud services and so are we. However, you can always request us to delete your application answers data by sending us email to “email@example.com”
What security measures are taken to protect the data?
Our website uses encryption in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security). This means that connection between your web browser and our server is secure and you can securely send us your data (application form answers). You can easily verify this by checking in the browser where our website address should start with “https://…”. Our cloud email service Gmail encrypts emails both when they’re stored (data at rest) and when they’re being sent (data in transit). Gmail uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt emails in transit. Are google cloud services (like Gmail) committed to GDPR? Yes.
